Miracles of the ER Premieres November 12 on Netflix With Wallace Huo and Cheryl Yang

Taiwan's emergency room drama Miracles of the ER, led by Wallace Huo, Cheryl Yang and Kent Tsai, arrives worldwide on Netflix on November 12.

01Less than two weeks to go

Miracles of the ER, a Taiwanese medical drama from Netflix, opens worldwide on November 12, 2026. Netflix Taiwan confirmed the date in the official trailer it released on October 20, which calls the release a global Netflix exclusive. What's on Netflix reports that the series has eight episodes.

02New doctors in a hard place

The story takes place in the emergency department of Yang-Da University Hospital. Wallace Huo plays Chou Cheng-chun, the deputy head of the department, who surprises everyone by taking on Lin Geng-ming, a fairly ordinary medical graduate played by Kent Tsai. Lin starts his first year of residency next to two much stronger newcomers, Tang Hsi (Chan Tzu-hsuan) and Chiang Tung-yen (Payne Peng).

The young doctors work under senior attending physician He Yu-hua, played by Cheryl Yang. In the official description, they move between high-pressure rescues, ethical choices and power games inside the hospital, and slowly learn to trust each other through one crisis after another.

03Where to watch

The show already has its own title page on Netflix, so viewers can add it to their list before launch day. Netflix's Chinese tagline for the series hints that every patient who comes through the ER doors brings a story of their own.
