01A New Best for Episode Six

The SBS medical drama Doctor X: Mafia in White reached its highest rating so far with its sixth episode, broadcast on Saturday, October 24. Based on Nielsen Korea data reported by Money Today and Singlelist, the episode averaged 19.5% of households nationwide and 19.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area. At its strongest moment, the audience peaked at 21.3%.

02A Steady Climb

The numbers have grown almost every weekend since the show began on October 9. Its second episode, on October 10, was already at 14.9% nationwide, according to Nielsen Korea figures cited by Money Today and Xports News. Two weeks later the series is close to the 20% line.

03Kim Ji-won Leads the Hospital

Kim Ji-won stars as Gye Su-jeong, a brilliant surgeon who takes on hard cases and challenges the people running her hospital. The series is a Korean version of Japan's long-running Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon. New episodes air on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:50 p.m. KST, and episode seven is set for Friday, October 30.
