Kim Ji-won's Doctor X: Mafia in White opened at No. 1 on Netflix's global non-English TV list, held the spot a second week and stayed at No. 2 in its third.
01Two Weeks at the Top
According to Netflix's weekly Top 10, Doctor X: Mafia in White entered the global non-English TV list at No. 1 for the week of October 5 to 11, with 4.6 million views. In its second week, October 12 to 18, the Korean drama kept first place and grew to 7.1 million views. Yonhap's reports on both weeks, carried by Korea JoongAng Daily and The Korea Times, describe the same results.
02Still in the Top Two
The run continued into a third week. For October 19 to 25, Netflix lists the series at No. 2 with 5.8 million views, just behind Lupin: Part 4. Korean outlet Singlelist also points to the No. 2 spot on Netflix's weekly chart, which means the show has stayed in the top two for all three of its weeks so far.
03From SBS to the World
The drama airs in Korea on SBS every Friday and Saturday and streams on Netflix in many other regions. Kim Ji-won plays Gye Su-jeong, a gifted surgeon who stands up to the powerful figures inside her hospital, in this Korean take on Japan's Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon.
