Netflix Sets October 30 for Dead-End Job, a Mystery-Horror Series With Lee Jae-wook
Netflix has announced an October 30 premiere for Dead-End Job and released a teaser and poster. Here is what is confirmed so far.
01What Netflix announced
Netflix announced on September 30, 2026 that Dead-End Job will premiere on October 30, exclusively on Netflix. The announcement came with a teaser trailer and a poster. The series is described as a mystery-horror fantasy.
02The story
In Netflix's description, a man deep in debt, Hyeok-jun, answers a mysterious flyer for a part-time job that pays far above minimum wage. It leads him to Spider Staffing Agency, which has one strict rule: never talk about what happens on the job. He is sent to what looks like an ordinary convenience store, where he learns that each shift could be fatal. The poster shows him injured and exhausted among the wreckage of that store, and in the teaser the agency head persuades him to take the work.
03Cast and creators
Lee Jae-wook plays the lead, Hyeok-jun. The ensemble also includes Go Min-si (credited as Ko Min-si by Netflix), Kim Min-ha and Lee Hee-joon. According to reports from Soompi and What's on Netflix, Go Min-si plays an investigator looking into the incidents around the agency, Kim Min-ha plays Hyeok-jun's younger sister, and Lee Hee-joon plays the agency's boss. Han Jun-hee leads the creative development, and Kim Da-min directs, per Netflix.
04What we do not know yet
Netflix's announcement does not state the number of episodes, so we are not giving a figure. We will update this story when Netflix publishes more.
