The Last Bloom Fades Releases First Trailer With Bai Lu and Chang Huasen
Tencent Video's revenge drama The Last Bloom Fades, adapted from Yi Shu's novel, shares its first trailer with Bai Lu, Samantha Ko and Chang Huasen.
01A First Look From Tencent Video
Tencent Video posted the first trailer for The Last Bloom Fades on its official YouTube channel on October 30. Bai Lu, Samantha Ko and Chang Huasen lead the cast, and Peng Guanying makes a special appearance. International viewers are pointed to WeTV, where the drama can already be reserved. A premiere date has not been announced yet.
02From Prison to Revenge
The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Yi Shu. According to the official synopsis, a young woman's glamorous life falls apart when she is suddenly sent to prison. She then learns that the romance she trusted was built on lies and careful scheming, and betrayal turns her love into hatred and a wish for revenge.
The trailer's tagline sums up her plan: she walks into the game alone to settle old debts, and nobody gets away. The synopsis closes on an open question, asking whether she will be left with ruin or a chance to begin again once the last flower has faded.
03Tags Point to a Female-Led Story
Tencent's own tags describe the series as a female-led revenge drama and a novel adaptation full of tangled emotions, which suggests the story will stay close to its heroine rather than the men around her.
