The Blue Road Official Teaser Confirms November 20 Netflix Premiere

Netflix has released the official teaser for The Blue Road, the Korea-Japan crime thriller with Son Suk-ku and Eita Nagayama, and its own channels now list November 20 as the release date.

01The Date Is Now Official

Netflix has published the official teaser for The Blue Road on two of its own YouTube channels. Netflix K-Content posted the English-subtitled version on October 23, and Netflix Japan shared the Japanese version, titled プルンギル－青の道－, on the same day. Both posts state that the series arrives on Friday, November 20, only on Netflix. The Korea Herald had reported the November 20 date earlier in October, and the teaser now carries it in Netflix's own words.

02What the Teaser Sets Up

The official description sums up the premise in one line: two detectives work together after brutal murders and puzzling messages appear on both sides of the border, while the truth turns out to be closer than they think. The Japanese description adds that the case is a serial killing that crosses national borders.

03Cast and Crew

According to The Korea Herald, Son Suk-ku plays the Korean detective Kim Seok, while Eita Nagayama plays the Japanese detective Inose. The same report names Han Jun-hee as director and Cho Yu-jin as writer, and says the story is adapted from Blue Road, a cartoon co-produced by Korean and Japanese creators.
