Tencent Video Releases First Teaser for Love Ends Suffering with Dai Xu and Tan Songyun
Tencent Video has posted a first teaser for the Chinese legal drama Love Ends Suffering, starring Dai Xu and Tan Songyun as a prosecutor and a detective.
01A first look from Tencent Video
Tencent Video published a first teaser on November 6 for its upcoming Chinese drama Love Ends Suffering (original title 春禾之上). The clip is billed as the show's lead-in preview, and the platform's description invites viewers to follow the series on WeTV, its international service. The official post does not mention a premiere date, so none has been confirmed yet.
02What the story is about
According to the official synopsis, the drama follows Ji Sanmei, a woman with a doctorate in law who joins the juvenile prosecution unit at a district people's procuratorate in the fictional Jihai City. She teams up with her friend He Liang, a police detective, and together they work on a series of cases involving minors.
The synopsis stresses that uncovering the truth is only one part of Sanmei's job. Whether a young person has been harmed or has broken the law, she hopes they can get a chance to start over. As the pair work to protect these children, the description says danger is already closer to them than they realize.
03Who stars
The two leads are Dai Xu and Tan Songyun. Tencent's listing credits them in surname-stroke order, and the teaser's title frames the story around a prosecutor and a detective working together, with helping people placed above punishing them.
