01Vampires Go Back to School

Francesca Next Door is a new Wavve original that carries the world of the 2005 MBC sitcom Hello, Francesca into a modern high school. Both Soompi and Korean outlet Ilgan Sports report that the series opens exclusively on Wavve on November 6. Ahead of the premiere, a new poster and a main trailer have been released, which Soompi covered on October 28.

02Who Is in the Classroom

Han Su-ah plays Pi Na-young, a vampire who moves from Romania and transfers into a Korean high school while hiding what she is. Kim Hyun-jin plays Jang Woo-joo, the model class president whose path keeps crossing hers. Lee Seung-gyu appears as Yoo Hyeol, another vampire keeping his identity secret at the same school. Shim Hye-jin, the star of the original sitcom, returns as the first Francesca in a special appearance, and Ilgan Sports notes she looks just as she did twenty years ago.

03What the Trailer Shows

Soompi reports that the trailer follows Na-young's transfer to Woo-joo's school, the slip that reveals her secret to him, and her instincts flaring up when he gets a nosebleed. The poster places the three young leads together under the line that a sweet but dangerous teen vampire romance is about to begin.
