01A steady climb for the chef drama

JTBC's cooking drama Final Table moved upward over its second weekend on air. According to Nielsen Korea figures reported by Soompi, episode 3 on Saturday, October 31 recorded an average nationwide rating of 2.2%, which Soompi described as the show's best Saturday result so far. Episode 4 followed on Sunday, November 1 with 2.6%. Topstar News reported the same two numbers and called the Sunday episode a personal best for the series, which premiered on October 24.

Ahn Hyo-seop leads the drama as Kang Han, a gifted chef who enters a high-stakes cooking competition. The figures are still modest for a weekend slot, but the trend after four episodes points in the right direction.

02A crowded weekend lineup

The competition around it remains strong. tvN's 100 Days of Deception, starring Kim You-jung, rose to 9.8% with its eighth episode on Sunday, a new high for the series according to both outlets. On Saturday, SBS's Doctor X drew 15.6% and was the most-watched program of the day, Soompi reported.
