TVING has released the first teaser for The Substitute, a new original series that arrives on the platform on Monday, November 23, at 6 p.m. KST. The video, posted on TVING's official YouTube channel on October 26, frames the show as a crime thriller that spins out of control, built around a dangerous deal that could turn the characters' lives upside down. In Korea the series streams exclusively on TVING.

02Three Students and One Exam

The Korean title refers to someone sitting the college entrance exam in another person's place. The story follows three young men at an elite private high school whose clashing desires push them toward a crime on exam day. Soompi describes the central figure as a top student from a low-income family who studies there on a special scholarship and is pressured into taking the test for a blackmailer who knows his secret.

03Cast and Team

Bae Hyeon-seong, Cha Kang-yoon and Park Yoon-ho lead the series. According to Soompi, Bae plays Nam Jae-yeop, Cha plays Kang Geon-tae and Park plays Joo Hee-dong. Uhm Ji-won and Park Hyuk-kwon are also named in the official teaser's description.
