01A first teaser before the premiere

Disney+ Korea released the first teaser for The Perfect Lie (Korean title Liar) on October 19. The caption sets up a single day that started as a flawless date and then turned upside down, leaving two people with memories that no longer match. The video confirms that the series arrives on Disney+ on October 30, and it is tagged with the two leads, Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin.

02Two versions of one night

Soompi, citing the broadcaster, describes the series as a tense mind game: two people recall one shared evening, and their stories cannot both be true. Yoo Yeon-seok's role is Min Joon-ho, a single dad who operates on hearts for a living. Seo Hyun-jin takes the part of Kang Ji-sun, who looks after the library at a primary school. Ok Ja-yeon joins them as a police officer who handles cases involving young offenders, and Im Seong-jae, Kim Ji-hyun and Lee Chun-hee round out the supporting cast.

03Broadcast details

Soompi reports that MBC will air the first episode on October 30 at 9:50 p.m. Korea time, with Jo Young-min directing from a script by Baek Jae-young. Streaming availability outside Korea may differ by country.
