KBS has set November 18 as the start date for Sound:Track, the 2026 edition of its Drama Special. The broadcaster's drama channel shared a script-reading video on October 20 that confirms the date. The video's description names Woo Da-vi, Kang Ae-sim, Kim Hyun-jin, Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Ki-taek among the cast, but it does not say which story each actor appears in.

02Eight stories, one playlist

According to Ilgan Sports, the season is made up of eight standalone dramas of about 60 minutes each. Every story starts from a song linked to a personal memory and deals with love, parting or growing up, in genres that range from romance and mystery to fantasy and coming-of-age. The outlet describes it as a follow-up to last year's music-themed season Love:Track.

Ilgan Sports reports that the eight episodes will air one by one at 9:50 or 10 p.m. Korea time, starting on November 18 and ending on December 16. Each of the eight stories has a different writer, while four directors share the episodes between them. Because the season is an anthology, every episode can be watched on its own without knowing the others.
